Hosted by the Golden Empire Flying Association, the Nevada County AirFest combines full-spectrum aviation with nostalgia, romance, excitement and photogenic family fun!

The fun swings into Saturday with scores of rare and exotic airplanes arriving within view from a traditional pancake breakfast. Displays and a full day of flying highlights a mix of World War II vintage fighters, bombers and trainers, with performance experimentals, classic aircraft, military airplanes and radio-controlled model demonstrations. The Calfire/ U.S. Forest Service, Grass Valley Air Attack Base open house compliments classic cars, kids activities, food, live music and displays to round out an entire day of excitement at the picturesque Nevada County Airport in Grass Valley.
